Nirmal Kumar Paudel
- Thanks to my exchange my documentation and networking skills has improved. Due to the training and the exchange my confidence has grown, I feel that I can deal with stakeholders in a greater way than before. The FK experience has had a great impact on my creativity skills, problem solving skills and my work style.

Nirmal Kumar Paudel from Nepal participated in the first round of exchange between Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC) and People Vigilance Comittee on Human Rights (PVCHR) in Norway 2015/2016. This civil society project supports young people’s capacity building and leadership development in the local, regional / national and international human rights community. It increases awareness of human rights violations and the participants learn how to understand, promote and protect human rights.
Through his FK exchange Nirmal has gotten used to working with different communities, cultures and languages.
Back in Nepal Nirmal is working in Integrated Village Development Services (IVDS). IVDS is a partner in the FK project Organic Farming Promotion Programme. This programme supports young people’s participation in the agriculture as a tool for sustainable development. As a previous FK participant himself Nirmal finds it inspiring to work with the FK participants and engage them.
