The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) constitute a shared global plan to end poverty, combat inequality and stop climate change by 2030.
In the autumn of 2015, the UN’s member countries approved the 17 Goals for Sustainable Development to be achieved by 2030. The SDGs view the environment, global economy and social development as a whole. They apply to all countries and act as a roadmap for the global effort to achieve sustainable development.
