Norec supports your exchange programme, but your partner organisation is legally your employer. Norec provides training for participants, and your project might be visited by our staff.

What is covered by Norec:

  • Allowance
  • Housing and electricity
  • Travel and Health insurance
  • Departure grants, visa, passport, work permit
  • Vaccinations
  • Transport to/from host country and to/from trainings.

Please note that you have to pay tax to your home country or host country. Your partner organisation is responsible for contacting the tax authorities regarding this.  Norec´s contribution is channeled through the organisation.

Dersom det oppstår konfliktar, utfordringar eller vanskelege situasjonar medan du er på utveksling, er det viktig å løyse dette snarast mogeleg.

3. Norec. If the problem is of great concern, and the communication with your parners has not improved the situation, please contact Norec.

We consider the environmental consequences of our activities. We do not use our position to obtain benefits for others or ourselves. We have zero tolerance for corruption and other financial irregularities, and we report unacceptable circumstances or behavior.
