AYESE 2018 — Action for Youth in Sustainable Environment and Empowerment

Empowering Youth to Champion Sustainable Development

The AYESE exchange is aimed at empowering youth to act around issues that affect their daily lives and that of the future generation. Essentially the main focus in the program is on environment, climate change, young women empowerment and human rights. The program will also equip the participants with leadership and organisational management skills.

For the partner Network for Youth Development (NfYD) the main goal is to strengthen their forum Urban Youth Forum that work with sustainable development issues that affect youth. For SPIRE they want to implement the lessons from the project in policy formulation by the International Committee. Mutual for both partners is the inclusion of alumni in organisational activities after completed exchanges, and developing a strong network for youth organisations working with climate change and sustainable development.
