Supporting Efforts of Partners Glohomo-GCR (STEPS Project)

The objective of the project is to increase organisational, staff and volunteer’s effectiveness through skills transfer through an exchange project. The skills acquired will assist in building strong systems and policy development for GLOHOMO/GCR. The staff/volunteers and organizational capacity building acquired will in long run contribute effectively support efforts to address the barriers that cause the gradual exclusion of many girls including but not only the most disadvantaged girls from public life and professional opportunities, and to overcome the factors that cause tens of thousands of child marriages annually in Malawi and Mozambique. GLOHOMO/GCR works to promote the rights for children rights at national and community level. The project will exchange 24 staff and volunteers combined for a period of 3 years. The overall objective is to ensure the exchange program is to exchange skills among staff and volunteers that will contribute to support effective implementation of programs of the two organization.
