Bridges for Music and Tvibit bring together young people from South Africa and Norway to gain practical experience through events and festivals. The project responds to a shared challenge: many young people lack work experience, networks and confidence to enter the job market. Through exchange, participants take on real roles in planning and running events, gaining hands-on skills in teamwork, communication and project management. Events are used as learning arenas where participants work together, solve problems and engage with local communities. They also use events to raise awareness about social and environmental issues. By working across countries, participants build networks, strengthen their skills, and gain experience that can help them move into work and take an active role in their communities.
