This project helps communities in Colombia, Guatemala and Brazil become better prepared for climate change and natural disasters. Social scientists and teachers from the three countries exchange knowledge, teach, do research and support local communities. The goal is to make people and places stronger and more able to cope with crises. The project also works with schools and universities to improve how resilience is taught. In the end, the project will produce a study on how local communities can become more resilient, and support the work on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the Paris Agreement and the Sendai Framework.
