This project connects staff and students from Tanzania and Norway to promote the rights and inclusion of children with disabilities. Through exchange and joint learning, participants gain knowledge about the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) and the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). Together, they develop educational materials for schools and care centres, and work to turn theory into practice. The project strengthens the capacity of the institutions and the schools they collaborate with, by improving knowledge and skills, and promoting more inclusive and rights-based practices. Digital workshops and joint activities ensure continued learning and collaboration beyond the physical exchange. The long-term goal is to improve quality of life and opportunities for children with disabilities in both countries.
