This project connects healthcare professionals, academic staff and students of nursing and midwifery in Norway and Brazil. Through exchange, participants gain practical experience and share knowledge on maternal, infant and family health. The aim is to reduce mortality and improve healthcare by learning from different approaches and strengthening women’s empowerment in pregnancy, childbirth and early motherhood. Special attention is given to the needs of minority and vulnerable groups. By addressing global health challenges and building cross-cultural competence, the project contributes to sustainable development and better health outcomes for women and infants in both countries.
