A 5 year' collaboration in nursing care and rehabilitation between Norway and Malawi

This project supports exchanges of nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists between hospitals in Malawi and Norway. The goal is to improve patient safety and rehabilitation after orthopaedic and neurosurgical surgeries. It focuses on early rehabilitation, leadership training, and better hospital routines. The partners aim to reduce disabilities, increase therapy access, and prevent infections through improved teamwork, clear procedures, and staff training. Sharing knowledge and experiences will help both countries provide safer, more effective care.
