The project improves patient care in trauma and emergency medicine by sharing skills and providing training between Haukeland University Hospital in Norway and Dr George Mukhari Academic Hospital in South Africa. It focuses on better communication and teamwork in emergency departments, helping South African staff manage their high number of trauma cases and giving Norwegian staff valuable experience with complex emergencies. Haukeland staff gain experience with rare injuries and ambulance services, while South African staff improve their trauma care, teamwork, and communication, supported by digital tools. The project also strengthens digital collaboration, allowing more staff to join meetings and training online.
