This project explores how anti-rights movements – such as anti-gender and anti-environmental rhetoric – affect marginalised youth. By connecting researchers from the Global South and North, the project aims to build new knowledge about how authoritarianism and shrinking civic space impact young people. Participants will conduct research in their home contexts, share findings with their organisations, and develop strategies for advocacy. The goal is to support youth-led action, strengthen the partners’ ability to respond to anti-rights threats, and raise the profile of underrepresented researchers in the global debate.
