We are looking for someone to share their experience and knowledge at this year’s International Volunteering Forum (IVCO) in Paris this coming October.

Conference theme: “Global Volunteering: An Essential Force for Sustainable Development”

Norec will cover travel costs for the selected speakers.

Your submission must include:

  • Contact details
  • Short biography for each presenter (max 200 words each, third person)
  • Session summary/abstract (max 200 words) describing what you would like to share

Sessions open for proposals

  • Morning plenary: Building partnerships across the volunteering ecosystem

    Focus: How can we build effective partnerships across government, civil society, corporations and donors in an increasingly complex environment? This session will explore what makes partnerships work in practice, and what this means as funding and collaboration dynamics change.

  • Strategy conversation (panel): Building strong, trust-based partnerships between volunteer-involving organisations, donors and governments

    Focus: How can organisations, donors and governments build stronger, more strategic partnerships in a complex funding environment—moving beyond transactional funding to flexible, values-based relationships?

  • How-to workshop: Building sustainable partnerships between volunteering organisations and the private sector

    Focus: Practical approaches to designing and sustaining partnerships with corporate actors (including employee volunteering). The workshop will cover aligning expectations, building trust, and creating partnerships that deliver shared value and impact.

  • How-to workshop: Building sustainable and balanced partnerships beyond capacity building

    Focus: Moving beyond traditional capacity-building approaches towards more balanced, reciprocal partnerships—through co-design, shared decision-making and recognition of local expertise.
