The exchange project between IOM Morocco and Hero Norge aims to strengthen staff capacity to support migrants in vulnerable situations and those awaiting durable solutions. It focuses on improving counselling techniques, case management, and advocacy for rights during the waiting period, while promoting best practices in Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration (AVRR). Migrants often face uncertainty, limited access to information, and psychosocial stress while awaiting asylum decisions or preparing for return. This initiative responds to these challenges by fostering mutual learning and operational collaboration.
