Partner Training Makes it Easier to Welcome Exchange Participants

A new exchange project can bring challenges. Norec’s partner training helps you prepare for them and gives you practical tools to manage your exchange.

“We know the common challenges that partnerships face. At the training, you learn how to prepare for them and deal with them when they arise,” says Øystein Garfors, Head of Knowledge and Learning at Norec.

What will you learn?

At the training, you will:

• learn about your role in the partnership
• explore how cultural differences can affect the exchange
• discuss common challenges and how to deal with them
• get practical tools to manage the exchange

Norec staff lead the training and use their experience from international exchanges to provide practical guidance.

Who should attend?

Partner training is mandatory for all new organisations that receive a grant from Norec. You must complete the training during the first year of your project.

Norec invites two people from each partner organisation. We recommend that the project coordinator or project manager attends together with another person who has an important role in the project.

If it has been five years or more since you last attended, Norec will invite you to attend again.
