Evaluation Program
As part of the development of the Multi-Year Evaluation Program, the Independent Evaluation Department is organising participatory consultations with stakeholders.
As an independent body, our mandate is to evaluate Norwegian development cooperation and provide credible, evidence-based insights that support learning, accountability, and informed policy decisions.
We do not evaluate individual projects, but focus on programmes, themes, strategies, and modalities that have wider relevance. The consultations will provide an opportunity to share your perspectives on key themes, challenges, and opportunities in development cooperation where global or system’s level evaluations can contribute to learning, accountability, and strategic improvement.
During the consultations, we will also introduce ways in which stakeholders can engage their global partners in the process. These insights will help us to develop a program that is informed by those closest to implementation and grounded in the most pressing needs and priorities.
The consultation will be held under Chatham House rules to help ensure an environment for free and open discussion and sharing of views.
We invite you to contribute to the development of the Multi-Year Evaluation Program by filling out this form by September 1st.
