Suman Basnet is a leading media professional from Nepal and currently serves as the Asia-Pacific Regional Director for the World Association of Community Radio Broadcasters (AMARC). With over three decades of experience spanning broadcasting, print, and documentary filmmaking, he is a passionate advocate for expanding access to community radio, empowering marginalized voices, and promoting gender diversity in media. Suman has spoken at international forums worldwide on media legislation, community participation, and the role of media in peacebuilding and social change.
