Navigating Local Context Across Cultures – part 1

21
April

Digital

Why do capable professionals still face challenges when working internationally?

Even experienced professionals can encounter misunderstandings when working across cultures. Often, the reason lies not in a lack of skills or goodwill, but in different cultural expectations and ways of communicating.

That is why we are launching a new webinar series exploring key themes in intercultural communication.

Our first session will be held in April. In this webinar, we will explore why intercultural communication is essential for effective international collaboration. We will present common scenarios that often arise in multicultural settings and share insights and data from our trainings that highlight typical patterns of misunderstanding.

Building on these examples, we will introduce practical tools that participants can start using right away in their own work. Annelise Ly will also share concrete advice on how to navigate cultural differences more effectively in partnerships and projects.

This webinar is designed for professionals who work in international partnerships, whether in NGOs, public institutions, academia, or the private sector. It is especially relevant for those who collaborate across cultures, manage international teams, support global projects, or work closely with partners in different local contexts.
