After two years with only digital meetings, Norec employees were happy to finally be able to visit partners face to face again.

In April, May and June, various Norec programme advisers and other staff conducted a series of partner visits in Eastern and Southern Africa. They had several productive meetings with partners in Malawi, Madagascar, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and South Africa.

– Digital meetings are fine, and are a great supplement for physical meetings. But we learn a lot more from seeing our partners face to face, says Tor Øyvind Rand, senior programme adviser in Norec.

Norec will conduct a new series of partner visits later this fall.
