Work at the UN
Norec funds positions at the UN and the World Bank. These positions provide a unique way into the UN system, where Norwegian citizens can gain valuable experience both at UN headquarters and in the field.
How it works:
Norec is in charge of recruitment, but the organisations themselves handle interviewing and hiring, and an individual organisation within the World Bank or UN system serves as the official employer.
There are three types of positions:
- United Nations Volunteer (UNV)
- Junior Professional Officer (JPO)
- UN Trainee
