Through a professional exchange program in Bangladesh and India, WAVE and DHAN Foundation work to equip local farmers with the knowledge and skills to transform small scale farming operations into viable businesses. Wave Foundation will focus on acquiring organisational capacity to run Farmers Producers Organisations (FPOs) while DHAN foundation will acquire skills on goat rearing, gene conservation and goat farm establishment.

The project also works to promote climate action in local communities, creating a digital platform and conducting in-person trainings to acheive this result. The project will have a special focus on including young people in the trainings. Based on the knowledge and skills received from the tranings the staff/youth will demonstrate small-scale climate actions projects to community farmers about climate-smart agriculture practices. This will foster digital collaboration, create relevant networks within the farming community and strengthen partnerships focusing on climate action.
