Since late 2016, DataDrivenFinance in Norway and Kenya have developed the concept of Collective-Based Insurance. The aim is that low-income families will be able to afford health-insurance to reduce the social and financial impact of any health issues that arise.

In Kenya, only about 20% of the population has some kind of health coverage. Through market development and analysis, branding, and automation of several manual processes, the DataDrivenFinance teams will build sustainable and cost-effective sales channels and education programmes to reach more low-income households, in addition to expanding their Collective-Based Insurance concept in Kenya and beyond.
