Through the triangular exchange project, Youth Sport Exchange Programme (YSEP) offer young coaches and leaders a chance to improve their competence in sports clubs in Malawi, Zambia and Norway. While getting hands-on experience the participants develop their skills in sports management and leadership. At the same time they will lift the quality of sports and contribute to a strengthened culture for volunteerism in the sports.

An important aspect of YSEP is also the role sports can have for youth development. The volunteer coaches gain work- and leadership experience, and these young individuals are given an arena to develop themselves. Additionally the project will open access to sports for groups who otherwise would not attend. Another aspect is the international and multicultural work experience these young individuals get, which will strengthen their employability.
